If you are coming from Madrid or Albacete, the N-330 road will connect you with the region of l`Alacantí, through the valley of the river Vinalopó (Elda, Villena).
The N-340 links Valencia with the interior (Alcoi, Cocentaina). In Muro de Alcoy by the CV-700 until Margarida.
It can be accessed by the A-7 motorway, taking the number 61 Pego-Oliva toll from Valencia and the peage number 62 Ondara-Dénia if you access it from Alicante, looking for the first municipality of Pego. From this town you can reach Alcalà de la Jovada, indistinctly, through the Vall d ‘Ebo CV-712 or the Vall de Gallinera CV-700.
